Selling car - MOT until Nov 2019 but SORN

I have just put my Mum’s car up for sale on the internet and have had a load of requests to view and take away. It was driven up to November until the insurance and tax expired, but has MOT until November 2019. Will any buyer have to tax & insure before driving it away? Never done this before and this is my main query to…

You're probably right, I was thinking of allowing them to test drive it, which would be a problem. If they're willing to buy it without a test drive then, as you say, it's their problem once it's their car.
