Hi All!
Made an account so I can ask for advice,
A month ago I moved in to a new flat with allocated parking in a private car park. Parked my car all month with no issues but today I woke up to a ticket from ‘UKCPS’ saying I dont have a valid permit. Its in my contract that I have the right to park in the specific space but my estate agent is closed at the weekend so will need to wait til Monday to talk to them. What should I do? Ignore it?
Any help would be appreciated as I don’t have anywhere else to park so am I ok to stay there?
Thanks!

same advice as in this thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5931766/ukcps-ticket-for-parking-in-my-own-residential-parking-space
if you continue to park without a permit then more tickets will follow
complain to the managing agent and the letting agent, get a permit and display it if its in your lease (check your lease or AST)
if there are rules, comply with them
get the MA or the letting egent to get the pcn cancelled and sort out the parking
the consequences of ignoring could be going to court0 -
As above, but appeal each and every PCN separately if you get more using the template you will find in post 1 of the NEWBIES.
Check your lease/AST first to see if it mentions a parking scam at all, whether the scammers can demand money with menaces, and whether they can take you to court.
Complain long and hard to your MA/HA, letting agents and landlord about this, as well as complaining to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
