Help. Amazon refusing refund

I bought 2 amazon kids fire tablets 8hd around 2 months ago. Within the first 2 weeks one of them started messing around . After contacting amazon I agreed to allow them to fix the problem - by replacing the tablet. A week or so later we had the same problem, again they replaced it. A couple of days after that the other tablet started doing the same thing. We contacted amazon again and again they sent a new one. Only for the new one to have the same issue the minute we turned it on. I contacted amazon and said I’d had enough and would like a refund. To this they told me I was out of me 30 days! Even though this was an ongoing problem that I’d let tjem try and fix. What do I do? Yeah spent £130 months n these tablets and they can’t be used. I’ve told them they are not for for purpose to which they sent my problems onto the kindle troubleshooting and I keep getting a reply saying they appreciate my patience.
