Fraudulent Injury Claims - HELP PLEASE

Hi guys,

I was recently involved in a car accident, was travelling down a main road and another car had pulled out of a give way junction without giving way to me and the front end of my car hit the front right side of her car. I'm only 19, have been passed/driving since I was 17 and have never been involved in any car accident incident until now. My insurance company did say they had enough evidence to prove she was liable for the accident after reveiwing the CCTV footage however stated that it would take a while for her insurance company to review it.

I told my insurance the night it happened, the next morning my insurance said they were going to ring her asking her to admit liability etc. They then rang me back stating that the other party was then saying that I turned into the side street whilst she was stationary at the give way junction (this isn't the worst of it btw), I was so shocked when she started lying, and it must take a really bad driver to hit someone whilst turning in espeically considering the side street with the give way junction was really wide too.

I did manage to get CCTV footage which does show a glimpse of what happened and you can tell that my car is still on the main road when the collision occured. My insurance is then saying that their insurance company hasn't reviewed the footage etc. And it may take a while for them to admit liabilty.

Now for the worst part. 3 weeks later, I recieved a phone call saying that there were 5 injury claims against me!! This doesn't make sense because there was only one person in the car that hit me and it was the female who pulled out of the give way junction. My heart started racing when the person on the phone said there were 5 injury claims against me, this is the first accident I've ever had and the fact that the other party was lying so much scared me. I saw her with my own eyes and there was no one else in the car, my friend who was in the car with me saw her as well with no one else in the car except her.

However, the CCTV footage that I retrieved does show us both parking up, and it shows her exiting her car, and she exits by herself and she even locks her car after exiting it with no one else coming out. Surely, if you claim to have a full car, another person would've come out other than the driver. Me and my friend were in my car when the incident happened and you can see in the CCTV that he exits the car before me to look at the damage done. I'm just hoping this CCTV footage backs up my point, it only shot 10 seconds before ending of her coming out but I think that should be enough considering she even locks her car as the lights flash of her car in the footage.

I'm just really worried, it's just fraud considering she was the only one in the car, I saw it, my friend saw it, and now I hope the CCTV just backs up my point, because she just wants injury money...

Any advice?

Leave it to your insurance company.

If you've given your insurance company your side of the story truthfully and with as much evidence as you can provide, nothing else is relevant. Leave it to them to sort out. She's being a !!!! by lying but that's not your concern.

Would be useful to have a dash cam at the time which should show the passengers in there as well
