Private parking fine

HI,
I need some real help here.
I have received a private parking fine from 2017 which I have been ignoring however I received a county court letter claim form. I did dispute the fine and said I was not the driver of the vehicle.
I have now received another letterbox from Gladstone solicitor telling me that the claimant want to resolve this over letters and if I still don't pay, it will be arranged In the claimants preferred address.
Would do I respond? will it go to back to county court?
I don't want to meet up with the claimant at their preferred address??
Thank you

Follow the guidance in post 2 of the NEWBIES that gives step by step advice from a LBA to a court appearance.
You can select a court near you during this process.
Complain to your MP as well using the info from post 1 of the NEWBIES about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

It is not a fine, it is an invoice for alleged damages caused by an alleged breach of an alleged contract. Unless you pay they will very likely take you to court . It is a well-known scam.
You must reply. Read the advice available here on the stickies/FAQs. It is not an easy subject to grasp, so you may have to read it seeral times. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
What is the Issue Date on your Claim form?0

Why the question marks? The NEWBIES thread covers this stage where Gladstones send that stupid letter.I don't want to meet up with the claimant at their preferred address??
You have already submitted a court defence have you? What EXACTLY did it say?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
