SEARCHING for that perfect piece of art to finish off your home can take time and money - so a housing developer is offering one lucky Wiltshire Times reader a unique prize.
The winner will be able to commission their very own painting of a favourite Wiltshire scene, painted by local artist and Redrow sales consultant, Angie Cotterill.
Angie has been painting for years after studying Fine Art at Staffordshire University, and several of her pieces can be found on the walls of the showhome at Redrow's Lakelands Edge development in Westbury.
Sandra Hughes, area sales manager for Redrow (South West), said: "We're very lucky to have such a talented employee - not only is she a fantastic sales consultant, but she's also a gifted artist.
"Angie's paintings are stunning and have added colour and beauty to the walls of our Malham showhome at Lakelands Edge."
Interior designers have used Angie's paintings to emphasise colour accents throughout the beautiful Malham show home. The soft, detailed brushstrokes in Angie's floral watercolours accentuate the earthy tones used in the design and show the property off to its full potential.
The spacious three-bedroom property is one of a range currently featuring at Lakelands Edge. It showcases a selection of two bedroom homes currently priced from £152,000, three-bedroom homes from £205,000 and four-bedroom homes from £229,000.
Angie said: "Art is something that I will always love doing, and having the opportunity to be able to take it into the workplace was one I couldn't miss.
"I love the beauty of nature and hope to catch that through my paintings - the Wiltshire countryside is so magnificent that there is no end to the inspiration."
