Lovers of mellifluous marvels rejoice, The Overtones are coming to town. One of the most successful UK vocal groups of modern times, The Overtones combine old-school doo-wop with modern pop influences to create a great catalogue of tunes. We’ve got two tickets to see them at the York Barbican on 14th December to give away to one lucky winner. This tour will be a very emotional one for the band, as it is their first since the loss of their bandmate and friend, Timmy Matley. Their new, self-titled album features some of Timmy’s vocals, but their upcoming concerts will have a special resonance due to his absence.
