Received PCN

Hi.
1. I've recieved a PCN through the post about a month ago. I've tried to appeal but they refused it. I decided to pay a fine straight after the appeal decision but when tried to pay online, it said that the PCN does not exist. Its been a month and I haven't received anything else through the post etc. Should I worry about it?
2. My partner parked in the same car park today and she left the car park 12 minutes late as had to get shopping in and strap our daughter in her car seat. Do you think she will receive the same PCN?
