Met Parking issued me a £100 ticket

Last year they did exactly the same, they waited for my permit to expire and then fined me, no notice, no warning, not even a letter to say that it needed replacing.
I pay my parking by direct debit monthly I have always been in credit and never failed to pay my payments are taken I believe in advance so I am never, not paying for my space and yet these clowns each year fine me.
I told them in the past that I do not use my car that it is for used these days only for emergencies which means that weeks or months can go by without using it.

Am I right just to ignore them unless of course, they take me to court?

Thanks in advance.

Hugh

no , not really, you should foolow the process in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread and appeal as keeper

plus complain to your MA too and insist on them getting the pcn canclled , this could be your best option (its the squeaky wheel that gets the oil)
