Hyundai Service Plan

Is it worth it? £18 a month for an i10. I think it just involves the service of the car, not if parts need replacing.
Think you need to do more research and find out what it covers and over what time scale. Also what are the separate individual services charges over the same period.0 -
It’s a five year plan. I’m used to having a car out of warranty and old. Once a year or 10k miles is how often most people service their car.... I was doing it more often
Service plan also does a few MoTs.
What do I need to do?0 -

Is that so, my car has 20K miles service intervals or one year but I service every six months.
So £1080 over five years, but what does it cover? What are the individual services charges over five years? A few MOT's, is the car new or second hand. Get the details and work it out if if is economic. Are you planing to keep the car for five years, is the service package limited to using one one dealer / chain, if so what happens if you move. Etc.....0 -
That's an awful lot of money for a 5 year service plan. I've just ordered a new car & the service plan is about half that.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

My service plan is £18 a month, on my last service (year 3) the dealer initially tried to charge me as there was a glitch in the recording of the plan and the cost was considerably more than what was left in the plan, so it looks like it's cheaper than if I'd paid for all the services myself. I've now taken out a second 3 year plan (now £17.99 a month!) - if I don't use it I get the money back.0

Oh hi thanks for the replies and I can’t quote people.
I’m a new driver and the car is brand new. I guess I just thought it was a fixed price and included everything. I also thought the warranty would be void if I didn’t go to a Hyundai.
Maybe I’ll cancel after the first years0 -
Does it include everything like paying for oil and parts, plus MOT? Just I don’t know how they can make money on £120 per year0
