    can i not use the wireless solution connected to the power circuit and be able to move it around from location-location/room-room??

    & if i'm using AOL, do i need specialist programming of these wireless boos thingies??

    The homeplugs with wireless range extenders in them can simply be plugged into different rooms etc.

    Your local network has nothing to do with your ISP (AOL). The ONLY thing that communicates with AOL is your modem/router. So there's no need for AOL's software at all.

  • How does the homeplugs work sending data around if its on a different electrical circut? (ie split box one homeplug on one side and one on another) will they work?

    Chances are the garage may be on a different circuit..

    i have used wireless linksys range expanders (model wre54g) and they boost wireless signals.

    Luckily my electris are all on same circuit

    but any idea on cost of these things and if i need any techie skills (mine minimal) to program or set these up to work

    in home - we have 1 x main computer and 4/5 laptops [kids, mrs, me etc...]
