A sov. is only a quarter ounce isn't it? Too small to make 2 rings.

My neighbour had a 22ct wedding ring, it wore thin and got misshapen over the years.

My mother's wedding ring is 22ct gold. She has been wearing it for 63 years. It's still fine.

I'm wearing my grandmother's ring. They married just after WW1!

My hubby wanted a white metal ring but had a yellow gold signet ring from his grandpa. We had a new ring made with Paladium but with a yellow gold inside (next to the skin) Unique!

  • I am assuming this is a 1oz Brittania coin not a sovereign. The most cost effective option would be to sell the coin and put the proceeds to your rings. The current sell price of a 1 oz Britannia is around the £920 mark.
