Hello,
We have been successful in my application for backdated ESA payments from 05/2013, but they have only given us to the 06th September 2014?
They have sent my a calculation, however the figures and dates seem really confusing?
Was it not supposed to be backdated till the date they received the form which was the 30/10/2018?
They did mention you could appeal a mandatory reconsideration.

Have you always only been in receipt of Contributions based ESA? Do you have a partner who has been working since September '14? Have you had savings over £16k? Partner working, or savings could/would affect additional entitlement.0

Are you living with a partner that claims a different benefit, possibly Income Support because they claim Carers allowance? If so then the Income Support will be classed as income £1 for £1 when calculating any income related top up.Hello,

No point asking for the MR if you're not entitled to any more than they've assessed you for.0 -
I work with a number of disabled clients who have completed the relevant form for recompense, but have yet to hear the outcome. Can anyone tell me how long this process takes please?0

If you're talking about the under payments for those that transferred from Incapacity benefit then it can take 12 weeks.Mr_Costcutter wrote: »I work with a number of disabled clients who have completed the relevant form for recompense, but have yet to hear the outcome. About £112 pw they changed it to £127 pw in 2014.0

I would say in September 2014 if you had £127 then you where given the top up on IR already that's why its only to that date. £112 is the conts and the extra is the EDP top up so looks correct0
