To answer the question about the appeal, which, apologies, I thought I had made clear that I have no grounds to appeal because the goods were “delivered” and eBay’s appeal system would automatically reject the case - and therefore would not pass on the claim to Yodel, which would leave me in the exact position I am now. I even think another poster has points this out.

You do have grounds for appeal. The appeal is that the item has been delivered, but not to the correct address.

If you are appealing that they were not delivered, then you will always lose. The claim is for MISdelivery.....

Either way, no one at eBay will pass the claim to yodel, the claim is with the contractor (the seller) not you.

You can't seem to grasp the right bits. I will leave you to it.

OP hasn't logged on since December 2018 so you are unlikely to find out what happened. Maybe it would be better for you to start you own new thread so people can help you as dragging up an old one will confuse things.

Anyway, I basically demanded the driver come to explain himself. He did so (which I was very surprised at Yodel putting an employee in such a position,

This bit made me laugh. So you 'demanded' something you didnt think was rational?
