    It is discriminatory, the difference is whether it is discriminatory in a way that the company aren't permitted to do so.


    I'd say they are skating on very thing ground

    I'd say as they aren't withholding SSP it wouldnt be classed as so. They're very much a "legally we can do this so we're going to" kind of company

    Mind advised me to speak to ACAS. Mind believe there may be a form of direct discrimination, but ACAS have advised to ask them informally to confirm what is mentioned in the contract. Awaiting a response from work.
