You "repayment history" is only part of the equasion.
Lots of other things are considered when offering a credit product.... length at addresses, income, disposable income, other credit commitments, debt to income ratio, length of time on electrol roll... the list can be endless.
Another thing to remember is that you may not be the type of customer they are profiling. People get declined credit just for not being the type of customer a credit grantor is currently seeking. Like all businesses, they are looking to make some money from their cusomers in some way.... this can be from the product off itself or by cross-selling in the future.
Just because on company doesn't offer you their "top tier" product it doesn't mean you won't get one from another as you could be exactly the type of customer "they" are looking for.0
