My Barclays app tells me it will be adding spending insights soon, including a map view.

Of all the improvements they could so they came up with handing over card payment locations to Google?

I guess if you have memory loss this will help, I know where I've been and where I have spent, I do not need Google to tell me that, what a waste of time.
This is probably a marketing ploy, we will now be targeted by restaurants, hotels and bars in the area visited.
