I overheard a member of staff the other day saying it was happening, although I thought she said Tursday.. may be wrong.

Anyone know if the Glasgow store is open late for this?

  • If you are concerned about items not being available on the day, if you are lucky enough to live close by, you can go in early and Debenhams will put items by for you for up to a week.

Recently I visited Debenhams during the last few days of their Blue Cross Sale. I had forgotten my purse and the assistant kindly put three items aside for me. This was a double win for me as when I returned the following week, whilst the sale had finished, the vouchers I had received came into effect that day. Not only was I able to get £5.00 off using the vouchers but they also honoured the prices on the tags.

    Thank you Debenhams.

Will there be 25% off the time it takes to queue up to pay for the bargains? My pet hate is queuing, so if they could knock up to 25% off the time waiting in line that would be marvellous.

And maybe have 25% more staff at the checkouts to help things along?

Thanks, it looks quite a place that centre. I've passed it quite a few times as it was being built, but haven't had a chance to go yet.

Argyle Street is that bit closer for me to get to on a weeknight. I'll maybe give them a call, although nobody ever seems to answer the phone when I do. (maybe they have caller ID  )
  • If you've already got your eye on something in Debenhams and are happy to offset the risk of it not being in stock against the possible price reduction next week, wait until then to buy it.

Or just buy it now, then buy it again in the sale if they have it and take the first one back. If you want to wear it now take the sale item back with the full price receipt.
