Help please...need access to communal cupboard where electric meter is stored

Hi all,

I need access to the cupboard where the electric metres for my apartment is stored. The management company have been rather unhelpful and stated that it can be opened using a universal key and the engineer attending should have such a key. They also informed me that it's a key that I can buy from the shops for a few pounds. Reference was made to a F2 or LF key but I may have heard this wrong. Has anyone heard of this key? What is it called and where can I purchase it please? I don't want to risk the engineer not having it so I would like to get one just in case.

Any and all responses greatly appreciated.

Thank you
