  • Thanks beanielou and CR.

    Not much added yet over the festive period, in work today until 1pm so going to go through the funds and see if there is anything else I can transfer over.

    julicorn I use the following survey sites;

    * Populuslive
    * Prolific Academic
    * Onepoll
    * Opinion Outpost
    * Valued Opinions

    I did have an account with I- Say but they just deactivated me - thanks for that!

  • Morning all,

    Back with an update on My Home Fund. Made another deposit this morning of £16.00 which was a cash out from Opinion Outpost so the total is now up to £531.00 which is £131.00 over my January 2019 goal!

    Super happy with that.

    Got some more cash coming in over the next month;

    * Populuslive cash out - February 2019
    * Facebay sales - 1 sold, 4 pending. Will list more after this lot

  • Well done on clearing your debt Dolly I was about a month behind you and managed to clear all my debt in Dec 2018 it's a bloody good feeling isn't it. Really does just go to show what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. I'll be cheering you on saving for a deposit I've just made my first mortgage over payment now I'm debt free. Good luck you're doing great and already smashed your January target:T

  • Hey all,

    So realised I hadn't updated this in a while.

    Still on target with the savings at the moment, transferred February's over when I got paid so total is now £800.

    However my Mum just found out on Monday that the company she has worked at for over 20 years are trying to sell and if they can't find a buyer they may just close the place down.

    Seems to be when you get over one rubbish hurdle in life another just gets put in its place :(

    She will find out in around 2 weeks what is happening but it's understandably quite a stressful wait for her.

    I know that we will survive on my wage if we need to but then that will put my savings on hold until she is back on her feet.

    I suppose we will just have to wait and see what happens.

    I have everything crossed that someone swoops in and saves their jobs for them.
