  • Yeh good point on the tutorials. Oversaturation appears to be prominent (I should not use big words, i dont really get them)!

Anyhoo, if anyone wants some "free/knockdown" support once I am up and running to help me gain a bit of a base and confidence then please just ask.

OF COURSE MSE Discount will be in place for all those who use the forums and help others. I am nice like that, not like a big corporation who couldnt give two fiddles about customers.

  • It is coming along now!

    Website is well underway.

Am I allowed to put the link to it here?
  • I am really stuck on the pricing scheme! WOuld people prefer to pay per hour? or by job type?
  • Tricky one that is, some problems take ages to figure out, as you know, others are solved really quick. I would initially go down the fixed price route....say £30.00 which will give you an hour to fix, anything more complicated you need to give a price for, or you could go for £30.00 for the first hour and then £15.00 per hour or part hour after that.

One question though, how are they paying if you plan to do it remotely?
:confused:I have nothing better to do!!!!
  • I was going to use paypal.

Is it a bad idea to ask for payment after I have fuxed the problem. Or before?

    Thanks

This will depend on you, you could also quote no fix no fee...... might get some more business that way,

  • Thanks Browntoa, I just wanted to make sure thats all. I did not want to break any rules.
  • I was going to do a no-fix no fee style affair. There is no point in somone paying for me to not fix something.
