Same railings exist at my local Waitrose, and yes they take up part of the space. Luckily, my little car fits in fine.

Agree with the first few posters. Did it myself once, very annoyed with myself, learnt from it, never did it again.

Its unfortunate and annoying but it is visible.

I guess deep down I knew all along there's nothing I can do. As you've all said it is a stationary object.

PS the big car is for the dog. If only I still had my little mx5. Six years of zero problems and zero expense. I finally buy a new car and within 5 months the engine lets go, the alarm packs up and now this. I guess it's just frustration.
