Parking Eye CCJ

Hi All - Newbie alert - this question has probably been asked many times...
I've joined Experian for my credit report only to discover I have a CCJ - dates back to Jan 2015 and it appears my Ex wife borrowed my car and parked without paying giving me a ticket - the details of which went to an old address etc etc.
almost 4 years on I wondered if there is any chance or process to settle / delete / set aside the CCJ or do I just have to role with it for another 2 years ???
Cheers

When was the CCJ registered? Jan 2015?
Is it causing you a problem at the moment?
If it's not causing a problem, it was registered in Jan 2015 and you don't foresee needing to apply for credit where this may be an issue, then it may be easiest to "let sleeping dogs lie" and let it time out. Otherwise yes - you can still probably apply for a set-aside on the grounds that the claim was filed against an old address therefore you had no opportunity to defend it, and you have only just discovered the CCJ on your file.
But ... have PE's "hounds" not been chasing you to enforce the claim? Whilst they're quite happy to file a claim against an old address without doing any checks, they're usually more keen to track down the defendant when it comes to enforcement. How does the marker appear on your credit file? If it shows as Satisfied then it sounds like someone paid it.0 -
If you want to apply to have it set aside, that process costs money and is explained in the NEWBIES thread 2nd post.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
