Moving onto Income Based jSA

My contribution based JSA expired and I had one day before my area was due to move over to universal credit I filled out JSA3 form and handed it in at the jobcentre to at least mean I get paid every 2 weeks and not have to go through the UC wait.
I asked if they could give me a receipt or copy the last page to say they had received it - oh they wont do that. thats too much trouble and it means they dont sign and have to make sure they deal with your claim ( no accountability).
2 weeks on...... low and behold I havent heard a dicky bird. My betting is my jsa3 form has been mislaid and for that the JC have absolutely zero liability or accountability to me. a good way to force me onto UC maybe? sorry for being so cynical of the system.
when my original contribution based JSA claim went in I think I had the grey letter from the DWP back within a few days not weeks.
Should I be concerned and wheres the best place to contact as I doubt the job centre will be of any help at all. whats the best tel number to call ?

Ring DWP. A quick google search gives this.

Although I can understand your frustration, try not to take that frustration out on the people you speak to. The situation is unlikely to be any of their doing and you are trying to get people to help you.0
