I asked a simple question and got the answer. I didn’t go out of my way to attack anyone until I noticed the responses that had been left after Comms’ advice.
Actually, it was your own reaction after Comms69's first post that sent the thread in a downward spiral.0 -

To which remark were you referring?
You are very touchy. I do think you need to look at yourself and whether this attitude does form part of the ongoing issues you are having with your colleagues.0 -

I hadn't thought of it like that, well done you! I will take on your advice and try and become as great as you. You really are an inspiration and a ray of sunshine to people who post on this board.

If this is your real life attitude a union's not going to be able to help you.
Given you were advised by OH to consult a union users are surmising that you already have an issue and are advising accordingly. If you'd left that nugget out of your post the chances are that whilst the answer would have been the same the tone may have been softer
ETA Having just read your other post a union is unlikely to be the solution you're looking for - I can't understand why OH would suggest that
:rotfl: so I should tell OH that you know what you are talking about and their advice is ridiculous :rotfl:
I think I will listen to OH Thank you very much!0 -

Yeah, you do that. Just so long as you understand that the Union will absolutely not help you with your current issue.
They will, however, be able to support you with any future non-related issues you may have.0 -

You're just not getting it are you ? Irrespective of the tone of the advice on here the sentiment is clear. If OH had any positive view on your situation they'd be stepping in on your behalf and discussing with HR - instead they're palming you off on a suggestion to discuss with the union (and before you start - yes I do have experience of this scenario from a number of different cases).
It's sad when a poster comes on here, gives their (one sided) side of the story and even with their positive spin on it other posters can make some fairly clear assumptions on where the issue lies and give advice that a union is unlikely to be of any use.MillsMolls wrote: »As for the comment about my colleagues and Work situation, you really need to grow up. I wonder if you would behave this way in person, I think not!
A good Manager or a trusted colleague should be able to discuss the issue with you - the fact they're not suggests either they're not that good or they don't think you'll accept the feedback.0
