Childcare Vouchers and UC

Hi

Are you able to use childcare vouchers and still claim the childcare costs on UC? I have tried to read up about it and my understanding is no, you can't but then the lady I saw at the job centre didn't know and took all my proof of childcare voucher payments etc. I still pay for the childcare its just it part of it comes out of my salary before tax each month. I have only just registered for UC and we won't find out how much we can claim until 7th Dec. I have to renew my childcare vouchers at work for next year but I'm thinking if they can't be used then its best not to claim them and then I can then claim the full amount of childcare through UC. I was claiming the full £243 in vouchers and then I pay an extra £200 on top of that each month.

Any advice please?

Many thanks
MM
