i have recently tried a ppi claim with a claims company, they told me i possibly had ppi policies, they was able to find out my account numbers for an overdraft i had in 1990, loans i had in 1995, 1996 and 1998,and a credit card from 2001 but they never told me who i had the accounts with, i have now sorted the account from 1998 and the credit card and had a refund, but how do i find out who my lender(s) were from 1990, 1995 and 1996, when all i have is account numbers, all paperwork was lost or thrown away years ago. i have heard my credit file only goes back 6 years, 10 years max, is this true? i am not sure if to carry on trying or give up trying to claim back ppi?
