I was looking at paying part of my January Tax bill using a 0% on purchases credit card. HMRC don't take credit cards; if I made the payment using Curve would it be eligible for the 0%?

The latest Curve card is like Mastercard debit and can be used everywhere debit cards are accepted. Please note that MCC is now passed by Curve card to underlying payment card which means some transactions made with Curve may result in fee and charges being levied by card issuers.0

I know that Curve can be used like a debit card, I just wanted to check that when the charge is made to the linked credit card, it will be eligible for 0% on purchases.0

It depends how the merchant marks the transaction.
They may mark it as a cash payment rather than a purchase0 -
I've linked a 0% purchases Lloyds card to Curve and can confirm that non-cash transactions go through as normal at 0%. I can also confirm that it works with HMRC and still stays at 0%0
