VCS MCOL "This is not a parking charge"

Hi guys, I am about to send off my Directions Questionnaire responses, having followed the guide written by bargepole.
Could anyone please shed some light on whether I can email the responses to the Northampton CCBC (scanned version of the form). If not, I'm guessing its best to send via recorded delivery? Is that the same for the copy that needs to be sent to the claimant?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Send your completed DQ to the same email address that you used for your Defence.
Do not forget to send a copy to the Claimant - address on your Claim Form.
Never send anything to either a parking company or their solicitor using any method that requires a signature upon receipt.
All that does is allow the intended recipient to refuse to sign, and then all you have is proof of non-delivery. Not quite what you want.
If using Royal Mail, then use standard First Class Post getting a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office counter. The item is deemed delivered two working days later.0 -
Thank you Keith as always.
Just to add - whilst rummaging through old papers, I have found the original yellow sticker which would have been stuck to the windshield and it reads "THIS IS NOT A PARKING CHARGE NOTICE".
On the claim form that has been issued, the particulars of the claim states:
"The Claimants claim is for... monies due from the Defendant to the Claimant in respect of a Charge Notice (CN)..."

Neither here nor there.Does this help my cause at all?
Just needs defending as per advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #2.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Obviously I have nothing useful to contribute to this thread due to my failure to paragraph whilst typing on my iPad.
And you lot claim the ppc’s are the bullies....
Your failure to paragraph your work will mean that fewer people will read it than a
properly punctuated piece. No-one is bullying you, just gently advising you how to get your exquisitely crafted prose read. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0
