Amazon/New Day Fraud alert

Last night I received a text advising of a fraud alert, saying I'd receive a second text asking me to confirm transactions. The second text never materialised, and I called them this morning as I still cannot use my card.
It seems 'someone' (no idea if it's New Day or someone I shopped with) had a data breach and my card details may have been compromised - no attempted transactions on my account, but they're sending me a new card as a precaution and I can't use my old card until then.
Bit of an inconvenience being without it for 7-10 working days, but I thankfully have a back up.
Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat, and a little warning to regularly check your account.

Same happens to me. Someone tried to use my card at Argos online it was flagged as a fraudulent transaction and wasn’t approved.
Better to wait 7-10 days for a new card than have someone trying to use it! I had my new card within a week. It’s always a really good idea to have a back up card for situations like this.0
