My wife has the above phone, and it isn't getting a data connection. The mobile data is switched on, but no data connection!
Is there another setting which I've missed?

have you tried the sim in another phone to check if its the phone or network
virgin "where" piggy backing bon EE same as plusnet , problems have been reported with plusnet , so check sim next0 -
It can't be the network, as I have the same phone, also on Virgin.David.0

Last time my data wasn't working and there was no obvious issue with the settings a reboot sorted it.

So I'll get my wife to phone Virgin and ask for a new sim, in case that's the problem. She says it's only since a recent upgrade to Android 8, but I've had the same update and mine is working fine.David.0 -
I have an iPhone 7 on VM and every so often the data stops working. I reboot of the phone always fixes it with me.0

I have today swapped my wlfe's sim into my handset, and there is no data appearing, while my data is working as normal.
So I'll get my wife to phone Virgin and ask for a new sim, in case that's the problem. She says it's only since a recent upgrade to Android 8, but I've had the same update and mine is working fine.
The only other thing it could be besides a faulty sim is if they've disabled her data for some reason (over her limit for instance).0
