Tax credits and repeated sickness

Hi
I am about to return to work after being off for about 12 weeks. I have continued to receive tax credits as I haven't reached the 28 week cut off. How long after I return will I 're-qualify' for another (up to) 28 weeks if I go off sick again? I think I have to be back for 2 weeks before the counter is set back to zero but I have no idea where I got this from and can't find the rule online. I have a chronic illness and I am struggling to stay in work.
Thanks
Sam

It's more to do with Statutory Sick Pay?(SSP)
This would link to the earlier SSP claim if you fall sick again within 8 weeks, so after 8 weeks you would start the 28 week SSP entitlement clock again and it follows that the same Tax Credits entitlement would follow for the full 28 weeks.0 -
Thanks. Do you know if this the same if I have been receiving employer full sick pay?0

Yes as full pay will have included SSP as well.0
