Who is Martin Lewis, not of MSE please? Is there another one?0

Do you mean Paul Lewis???Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0

Good questioning - addressed those who already have credit in their account from summer - why do they need the 40% increase?
No sensible answer.
Will you be contacting these customers automatically to lower their DDs and if not why not?
No sensible answer.
Will you be waiving exit fees for those on the fixed deal?
No, and no sensible answer.
Well done, interviewer (whatever your name is!)0 -

Sorry M, Paul Lewis.
Just listened to him interviewing the communications person in charge.
A mistake he said:rotfl:
Paul Lewis had him by the b#####
Pure waffle.
Worth a listen.
The customer has to contact them, to get it reduced to 40%, not 75% that has been added, and if in credit, it will be done, case by case?
Other interveiwed reckon another 5 to 10 could go bust over the winter, selling it at a loss.0 -
No, they won’t contact you , you have to contact them.bye_bye_band_G wrote: »Good questioning - addressed those who already have credit in their account from summer - why do they need the 40% increase?

They will not waive the fee if you switch on a fixed rate.
Need the increase to pay for file they are selling at a loss.
Make of it what you may0 -
OFTM spokesman kept on saying they're the cheapest.
So reading between the lines... FU, if you don't like it off you pop somewhere else and pay more!
Not the cheapest for me by a long chalk, not even on the radar.
I reckon they'll be one of the 5 to 10 to go.0 -

Worth a punt at corals.
His attitude stunk.0 -
It's BS anyway. They haven't apologised to everyone. The last I heard was 9 days ago when they suggested I send a photo of the meter readings.
No update. No apology.
Not that I really care, but I feel it's just another example of this company's arrogance & ineptitude.0 -
BS is used by some to produce energy, Oftm et.al could flog it, they are full of it.VoucherMan wrote: »It's BS anyway. They haven't apologised to everyone. The last I heard was 9 days ago when they suggested I send a photo of the meter readings.
