For those who panic about credit score

I’ve never really paid attention to my credit score but I have with my data. Checked my credit club report and woah the score is 999 but strangely my loan affordability is low and my credit card affordability is medium. So if I really had too score surely that would mean both loan and credit card affordability would be high.
Something to think about there.
Oh a question while I’m here. I am registered on the electrol roll at my new address but they have missed out the building name and just used the door number and the area of the town instead. The linked addresses show this also and linked to the actual correct address.
Could this be an issue and need sorting out or do I just leave it?
Thank you

Nobody will read this so I'm not sure why you've bothered to make a new topic about it.
We understand that your credit score is meaningless. The next person who posts here will in invariably refer to their score anyway.
Such is life
And no, you don't need to fix anything.0 -
Nobody will read this so
84 people and counting will disagree with you.
The OP is highlighting the absurdity of the credit scoring system, and made a perfectly valid remark.
I've moved house, I'm not on electoral roll, I apparently have very low chance of getting any credit cards or loans, my affordability score is 0, yet my score is 999. Bonkers.0 -
Age old problem, people associate their credit score with there eligibility to borrow, the two are intricately linked in our minds, and yet the companies that produce this "score" are not lenders.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. They tell you your score is 999 and the way to keep it that way is not to apply for credit and then they tell you to apply for this product because you have a 90% chance of being accepted for it, i wonder how they make their money.0
