No water coming from hot tap (combi boiler)

Hey everyone,
I just got my bathroom fitted today and all week I've had no issues with water but today when the guys finished up I realised we have no water coming out of any of our hot taps. Cold taps are fine but there is nothing coming out of the hot tap and the combi boiler has no error code. The bathroom fitter came back and said it might be air so he forced the cold through the hot tap and also plugged the hot tap with this thumb to move the air but nothing. The heating is working fine and I've tried switching the heating off and also get set the boiler but nothing.
I've got British gas coming tomorrow as I have home care that cover the boiler and heating but does anyone have any ideas?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Cold feed to boiler switched off?0

The fitters only turn the water off from the stopcock so how would i check that or is it something that would have to be switched off manually for it to be off? If so the feed was never switch off from the boiler.
Thanks for helping 😀0 -
What boiler is it? A Vaillant...
Some manufacturers filling loops when left in the wrong position shut off the cold water supply to the boiler which stops the hot taps from working.0 -
It was the filling loop. I was googling last night and it was in the wrong position and once I put it in the right position it came back on.
Thanks for all your help!0
