Benefits after SSP expires?

Hi - I posted on the employment forum earlier and someone suggested I post on here. I have been off work since June this year after a heart problem. Since then I have been on Statutory Sick Pay from my employer which is due to expire shortly. I am not yet fit to work and we are already struggling financially. Please can anyone offer any advice on what happens next and what benefits I may be able to apply for. I was advised on the other forum not to resign but I know I won’t be able to return to my job. Is anyone able to offer any advice on this situation please? Many thanks.

Depending on where you live, ESA or new style ESA if you're in a universal credit area and have enough contributions. There are online postcode checkers on gov.uk
Potentially PIP if your condition may last for longer.
There are benefits calculators on turn2us or entitled to check housing benefit if you rent and council tax benefit but these are income related so will depend on the household income and savings. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
