Do I lose some of my housing benefit if my son is under 25 and in the support group of esa.

Yes, unless you claim a disability benefit like PIP daily living or DLA care then your housing benefit will be reduced by £15.25 per week.

Thank you. Just had a bit of a panic, only realised today that we had no letter from council about my son getting pip or esa.0

When my partner moved from dla to pip we found out he had been awarded pip by letter from our council. When my son was awarded pip and esa I was told to let the council know which I did and they said they would send a letter but they never did.0

i think what is meant is that you need to let HB know about your circumstances, they will then write to you to let you know if any changes to your HB awards CTS etc0
