Lead pipe replacement (under concrete floor) worth it?

What price peace of mind?, pretty priceless actually.
The suggestion to search out another route to your stopcock is good, it may even be possible to fit a tap before the 3 metres, ie just within the house then run surface piping behind kitchen units etc, needs a good dose of looking at.
I had ours done 23 years back when I built a new kitchen extension. I had the pipe moled up 15 metres of drive with 4 holes needing to be dug in the drive. A hole in the kitchen floor may allow moling of just 3 metres.
PS still remember how phenomenally little that cost me back then, £40 for a Sunday mornings work by 2 guys who had the kit, (plus pipe cost). Hate to think of the cost today though:shocked:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0
