Parking Charge Notice Wrong Street Address Hire Car

Hi all,
I’ve read through the newbies and pinned posts on this issue but can’t quite find what I’m looking for.
I received a copy of a parking charge notice for my fleet car from the leasing company. The leasing company have my correct address detailed on the covering letter, but when I look at the actual parking charge notice issued by Civil Enforcement Ltd the street address they have used to send the letter to me is wrong.
Civil Enforcement Ltd have now again sent me another letter, again addressed to me with the wrong street name and a slightly incorrect postcode. I know this has arrived to my house (no getting past Royal Mail!) but can I dispute the parking charge notice based on the incorrect address? Or just ignore it completely?
To try to illustrate what I mean (not my real address :rotfl:)
On PCN: 12 Verney Street, DY5 1QT
My actual address: 12 Vanity Street, DY5 1QR
I assume my leasing company have passed them my correct address and/or they have seen my license details on DVLA but failed to change this on their correspondence.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They will not have seen your licence details from the DVLA, that's for sure.ivegotasecretweapon wrote: »...they have seen my license details on DVLA but failed to change this on their correspondence.0 -

Post 1:5 of the Newbies Sticky covers Lease Companies completely - Overthinking the address thing will not help you greatly if it is close enough for them or the lease company to get to you.0 -
I'm assuming you aren't daft enough to have posted your real address on an internet forum.
As already advised, don't try to overthink this. Just follow the tried and tested process for dealing with hire/lease cars.
The advice to ignore a PCN has not been given here since the law changed in 2012.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Haha Fruitcake, as I said in my query I made up an address for illustrative purposes 😉 RE ignoring the charge I must have been reading an old thread so thank you.0

Wasn't Winston Churchill still Prime Minister then? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
