I received a phone call to advise I was paying £4.99 a month for phone insurance since 2011 for a phone from phones4u. I can never remember taking this and always though this was my home insurance as said 'policy admin service' I have looked on the premier plan insurance website who advised that the company phones4u are in administration ... Can I claim this money back and if so how do I do this??

You can complain but if the seller is in administration I wouldn't hold much hope of getting anything, worth a try with the insurer but no guarantee they will even look at it
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

As above, whatever your reasons, you are unlikely to receive any redress from a firm in administration.0
