From what appears to be a "family" business, they certainly act like a greedy corporate one
Ordered some last night but decided I don't want this morning.
Emailed to cancel the order but they said I was too late and there's nothing they can do. It's still in their warehouse, so I can't quite believe there's nothing that can be done.
Back and forth with a few emails but I may as well get an automated response.
I've always understood prices change all the time but to be told they won't cancel my order? Is that even right?
There is something in their terms and conditions that states I can't reject the delivery:
Just means hassle sending them back as I don't have a printer at home and unless the courier can guarantee they will collect when I am home... I can see this being messy. All for the sake of them not picking my order out before it went on the lorry to leave them.
Shame as I really wanted to like the company and likely to place large orders.
Online they seem to be friendly when you're friendly, but ignore you if you have any trouble.

The Seller shall not be liable to the Buyer for any loss or damage, whether arising directly or indirectly from the late delivery, or short delivery of the Goods. If short delivery does take place, the Buyer undertakes not to reject the Goods, but to accept the Goods delivered as part performance of the contract.

You seem to have missed the words "If short delivery does take place..." when you highlighted the bit in their T&Cs. It's got nothing to do with cancelling the order.
Unless the goods are personalised or specially made for you (which I rather doubt), then you have a legal right to cancel the order. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Turns out the product isn't that great anyway.
£4.50 el cheapo at the supermarket does the same thing.0
