Hi
Back in May, my wife got a pcn on her windscreen from local parking security LTD.
We were advised to ignore it. A few letter later i felt discomfort so took it upon myself to look on here for reliable information, whilst reading the newbies thread i realised the advice of ignoring them was bad advice.
We have had the debt collectors writing to us, which
have been ignored. Thats fine.
But then a letter came through yesterday thats left me un certain.
Its a letter headed with Gladstone solicitors
Now, what i noticed was interesting but i need some clarity.
It says “our client now has the OPTION to commence proceedings in the appropriate civil court”
It also says “please now contact our clients agent dept recovery plus ltd, in order to discuss a payment proposal”
Am i correct in saying that this is in fact another blasted Debt collector letter and should be ignored.
I would like to add that my wife will not want to go to court haha.
Whats LPS ltd’s background, do they take people to court?

Haven't seen any from them reported at all.Whats LPS ltd’s background, do they take people to court?
If you need to see all photos etc., and all letters (if some were thrown away) your wife could email the parking firm a SAR (as per the NEWBIES thread post #2 about LBC stage).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
