bulb started at £61 now asking for £129
i gave them our annual usage when i was looking to switch. they quoted £61 a month. been with them about 4 month. they are now saying it needs to go up to £129. That seems quite a big increase and seems unfair since we are not using any more energy than last year.

The sales staff in most energy companies are on commission and hence will do what it takes to get a potential customer to switch supplier.
As you state you knew your annual usage, you could have worked out the annual cost EXACTLY; or putting that annual usage into a comparison website would have also given the correct cost.0
