Really Worried-Applied for Credit Card

I applied for a credit card last week and signed the papers they send you and it said my card was waiting to be dispatched, but I sent this all off last week and I'm worried cos I haven't received it yet and am wondering why and am worried someone's stolen it or gotten hold of it somehow. I don't even want the card now, or just want it for emergencies, but I wish I hadnt even sent it back. Am i worrying over nothing?

It can usually take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month from when you send the credit agreement back to when you receive your new card.

You're worrying for nothing. You should ring up after the 2nd week to find out about the card should you still not receive it.

Use it for emergencies or as a direct replacement for your day to day cash purchases.
