Citroen C3 Aircross - any good?

I'm thinking of buying one of these and wonder what owners think of theirs?
Mine would have automatic transmission and Parking Assist. Any experience of these would be especially useful.
Many thanks

Had one as a hire car not long ago, 1. 4 manual, it made the top of my worst car ever driven list, this list includes a lot of very bad cars. Only good point I could find was the auto folding mirrors.

    Engine lacked power.
Poor driving position with very little seat adjustment.
No support to seats just very flat bench like seats.
Brakes felt very binary with no feel.
    Numb steering.
Very long throw on the gear leaver but won't be an issue in the automatic.
    Lots of body roll.

I would have swapped it out if I had not turned up at the rental office at closing time.

I guess it depends on what you look for in a car. If you just want a box for a to b and its cheap gp for it. If you get pleasure from driving steer clear.

I owned a Citroen once. Got rid of it at the first possible opportunity. It had reliability issues that made British Leyland (remember them)? cars look like well built, reliable motors.

I wouldn't touch one with someone elses bargepole.

Check out the Honest John review.

Ignore the naysayers Citroens are as reliable as any other marque excluding Honda & Toyota.

Have you had one? I spent thousands fixing mine. New timing chain tensioner at 10k miles. New turbo at 15k. Tensioners going again at 18k.

Over £2.5k there plus normal running costs. Got shot and got a Q3 instead.

But you'd be quite happy with a Vauxhall, right? A Crossland X, mebbe?

Anything other than a DS3. A bit chalk and cheese DS3 to Q3 but yes I traded one for the other.

Frankly my first car was a Metro. It was more reliable than my Sh1trun

Never liked it, I own Audi A3, though its under powered but does the job very well.
