    Suggest you read the thread .
    I was posting a comment regarding user who post re i dont use the phone .
    Same problem for thos with other non VM companies .

    Thats the problem if its worded as PHONE line rental .
    Its actually LINE rental .
    You are not renting the line for the phone . Line rental is for the line that multiple services travel down .

    virgin media broadband only NO PHONE OR TV , 50 m package unlimited was £16 , just gone up to £17 per month

    its a case of bartering , I was paying a lot more last year with phone

    I pay for line rental and dont have a phone line into my property with Virgin we have mobiles. It does seem unfair but sadly its business x

    No as already explained you pay line rental to rent the line your BB comes over .You dont pay for a seperate phone line .

    But i agree any BB services should not mention line rental just full charge for LR and BB included.
