Unsure about Direct Debits when using Switch Service

I just want to be sure I've got this right... The full balance of my monthly credit card bill is currently paid by direct debit from a current account with bank A. I understand that when I use the switching service to move my current account from bank A to bank B, I do not have to tell my credit card provider anything - they will be informed by the switching service and will automatically begin collecting my monthly payment from bank B. Is this correct?
