My dad got his letter last week, not sure if he's received the money yet though, my mum hadn't checked!0

Can anyone confirm if this is always paid on the same date each year? In the last two years it has been in my account by 23rd November but so far this year there is no sign.
I know it is only a couple of days late but wondered if that was normal or if I needed to give the powers that be a reminder.
Thanks0 -
No Rubble - the last 2 years we've had ours around the 16th Nov, that's why I was asking about it. We had the letters this morning so it must be coming soon0

I'm pretty sure that it;s not paid on the same date each year. or in necessarily in NI number order - I think there are just a certain number processed each day/week from mid-November till mid January when they're all done.
There's no point in chasing up until after 14th January.0 -

I'm a bit concerned about mine as it has always been paid on my husband's NINO. Sadly he died in July. I'm assuming that the payment will be made against my NINO but I haven't had a letter or any payment. Last year it was paid on 13th November. I can't help wondering if the DWP have recorded my husband's death and stopped the payment. Does anyone on here work for the DWP? Would it automatically be transferred to my name or do I have to apply?Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0

According to my letter the payment is based on information held for the qualifying week of 17th September 2018. As you sadly lost your husband in July his pension would no longer be in payment and you will receive your fuel payment based on your eligibility .
Payments are being made from November and all payments should be made by Christmas although I usually get mine in late Nov early Dec . I hope yours comes soon and condolences on your loss .
