As I have only just learned from Martin Lewis Live 20/11/18 that I can reclaim this from HMRC, my question is as follows,
How long can I go back, as I know that tax used to be taken from savings interest
thanks :money:

Send in the R40 form for the year where you paid tax on your PPI refund interest0

Unless you completed (or are required to complete) a Self Assessment return for that year in which case you cannot use an R40 and would need to amend your tax return or make a special type of claim. More information is available on gov.uk0
