PCN in Scotland but Car Registered in England

Very recently got a PCN whilst parked overnight in a residential car park in Scotland.

Looking for advice on what to do as the car is registered in England.

OP, have you used your real name as your forum username?

Then your really should ask MSE to change your username to something totally anonymous.

To help with that, you might like to read this short extract from The MSE Forum Guide - Frequently Asked Questions & Rules:

Q. How can I change my username?

A. In most circumstances, this is not permitted.

The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk. This usually means you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something that gives away your identity within your username.

If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com and request that it is changed, giving three alternative usernames in order of preference.

Who is the PCN from and are you the registered keeper or do you mean it is registered to a company in England?

Sorry for lack of info.

It is from P4 Parking and I am the registered keeper living in England.

OK, easy company to beat and they cannot hold keepers liable.

Usual advice from the NEWBIES thread applies - the keeper's template appeal on day 26.

Let's see if they are stupid enough to issue a POPLA code for a parking event on land in Scotland! Nothing to worry about with this bunch but don't ignore them.

Should the day 26 appeal be sent to their complaints email address?
(As opposed to the web form for their appeals process?)

Apologies, I would argue it's not particularly clear as above it states:

"In the case of CURRENT (NON-DVLA-BANNED) BRITISH PARKING ASSOCIATION (BPA) AOS MEMBERS ONLY, appeal online or by email at around day 26 after a windscreen PCN but as the KEEPER, not driver, using the ''one size fits all'' blue appeal template below."

Where do I say to swerve all that and use some random complaints form? I don't! YOU ARE APPEALING IT - you want a POPLA code.
